The synthesis problem of the well matched antenna, with the predefined directivity pattern, is very old and very topical problem in the practical point of view. From other side there is constant need to construct different kinds of antennas. The technicians design the antenna using their intuition and by trial and error method. It was shown, that this optimal distribution is related to the singularities for the field with the assumed pattern and is uniquely determined by the distribution of these singularities - active sources position. The Method of Auxiliary Sources (MAS) is efficiently used in the synthesis problem of antenna with the given far field pattern, by means of the radiated field’s fundamental singularities determination. As it is known, the same directivity pattern, at the given frequency, could be obtained with the different current distribution on different antenna surface. The problem is reduced to the finding of the more or less optimal current distribution, which is unique. This means the minimal values of the: currents, reactive near field values and also the best matching between antenna and radiation. In the given work is confirmed that the optimal currents’ distribution is related to the fundamental singularities of the radiated field. Main purpose of Master work is to present the source localization methodology along with simulation and measurement results. Proposed methodology is used for directive antenna syntheses to realize desired pattern with minimal side lobes and reactive field and also could be used efficiently to far-field prediction. There is also shown various measurement results and their comparison with modelling results.
