High-performance liquid chromatographic is the most important method for separation of enantiomers. Chromatographic separation media based on core–shell silica particles are becoming very popular for high-performance liquid phase (HPLC) separations. Now days for analysis is used to totally porous the chiral stationary phases prepared (the commercial) column and core–shell type silica. The core-shall type columns have several advantages over totally phorous columns. These advantages are : 1. Short analysis Analysis of fast time compared to totally phorous commercial columns. 2. High columns efficiency. 3. More uniform particle-size distribution of core–shell particles . The use of core-shell silica-based stationary phases has been successfully demonstrated in various separation modes (RP, HILIC, etc.) and for both, small and large molecules.
