The synthesis and study of some adamantane fragment containing heterocycles.

In direction of searching for new biological active compounds was synthesied 5(6)–hydroxy–2–(1–adamantyl)benzimidazole and N-6–[(1–adamantyl)carboxamido]benzoxazole from aminophenole by 4 synthesis steps. There was studied the cyclisation conditions of (N-(3-hydroxy-4-aminophenyl)adamantane-1-carboxamide with different aldehydes and nitriles. The synthesis of 7-(1-adamantyl)-2-(aryl)-8H-imidazo[4,5-e]benzimidazole derivatives was carried out in 7 steps. There were synthesized the new derivatives of 5(6)-carboxy-2-(1–adamantyl)benzimidazole and studied their reactivity with 1-aminoadamantane and hydrazine hydrate. The structure of all synthesized compounds was investigated by IR, UV, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, DEPT, HMQC, HMBC, mass spectra and elemental analysis. The pure samples were prepared for bio screening.
