Water contamination is one of the major environmental problems and holds a great valuation to biodiversity, environment and public health. From a vast number of hazardous contaminants that reaches hazardous levels is Arsenic. Even the small concentration of it can cause the toxic effect. Arsenic pollution in water is a huge environmental threat and it needs to be processed by specific methods. The aim of our work was to study the adsorption of Arsenic (III)in AsO33- and As3+ forms on initial, decationated, and cation-modified Clinophtilolite. Was established that cation-modified Clinophtiloliteis effective, cheap and available adsorbent, which will help to reduce the concentration of Arsenic.
