Copper polymetallic and gold mineralization in the Lower-Middle Jurassic sediments of transalazanian Kakheti (example of satskhvrekhorkhi-abano occurance)

Annotation:
In the Master’s Thesis are discussed copper- polymetallic and gold mineralization issues in the segment of Stori-Satskhvrekhorkhis of transalazanian Kakheti. Is described stratigraphy and magmatism of study area. Is newly comprehended technical position of the ancient precipitation – Stori series. Magmatic formations are formal-systematized, are separated early-alpine volcanism sinemurian-lower pliensbachian and upper pliensbachian-lower toarcian stages and their respective formations - antidromic rhiolite-dacite-andesite-basaltic and natrium basalts. Are studied sub-volcanic bodies. Based on the comparative petrochemical analysis of magmatic rocks are determined the formation affiliations of the mentioned bodies – are diagnosed allocated sub-volcanic analogs of Vulcan formations. Ore-bearing of the study region is discussed Lower-Middle Jurassic slate terrigenous girdle in the section of copper-polymetallic metallogenic megasystem. Metallogenic specifics of the region are determined by copper-piriton and pyrite-polymetallic mineralizations with collision, ore-bearing system, which are respectively formed by the tectonic-magmatic activization on the early orogenic (Middle Jurassic) and lateorogenic (Neogene) stages. Are drawn up structural-geological map with scale of 1: 50000 with ore capacity. Detailed search assessment works are carried out on Abano, Satskhvrekhorkhi and Lechuri ore-revelations. Are revised this ore-revelations ores and ore containing rocks. The research part of the work is financed by Shota Rustaveli National Sciences Foundation within the project of „Master’s Training-Research project grant foundation” Through analyzing of obtained results and already existed materials are cleared upmajor characteristics of copper-piritone and pyrite-polymetallic omineralization, gold mineralization place in their zonal row. Are allocated new types of gold mineralization, gold polymetallic and prospective spaces on this type on mineralization within the Stori-Satskhvrekhorkhi segment.
