The condensation reactions of aldoses with tryptamines and there derivatives
Author: David OrjonikidzeAnnotation:
Chemical modification of known drugs based on carbohydrates is one of the most promising directions in the research for new biologically active substances. Modified saccharides derivatives are currently widely used in medicine, as an effective antiviral and anti-cancer drugs . Synthesis of N-glycosylamines via direct condensation of the primary amine with monosaccharides in an alcohol solution. Via condensation of D-glucose and tryptamine in absolute MeOH (without adding catalyst) to give the corresponding glycosylamines 1-N-tryptamine-β, D-glucopyranosyl amine da 7-methyltryptamine- β, D-glucopyranosyl amine.
